Widows Ministry – Bringing Hope, Dignity & Support
“Defend the poor and fatherless; do justice to the afflicted and needy.” – Psalm 82:3
For many years, under the leadership and compassionate vision of Pastor Isaac Thejith, our Widows Ministry has been a vital arm of love and restoration. In the past, by God’s grace and the generosity of faithful sponsors, we were able to support over 100 widows with monthly provisions—giving them food, clothing, medical care, and spiritual encouragement. These widows, many of whom had lost everything, found a family and a future through this ministry.
However, due to the recent decline in funding, our ability to serve has drastically decreased. Today, we are only able to help 10 widows, though the need remains just as urgent. Our hearts are burdened, not because the need has diminished, but because our hands are tied by limited resources.
Many of these women are elderly, vulnerable, and alone—left without financial help, emotional support, or a place to call home. We believe that no widow should be forgotten, and that the Church has a sacred calling to care for them, just as the early Church did (1 Timothy 5:3).
How You Can Help:
We are prayerfully seeking new sponsors and generous donors who will stand with us in this God-given mission. With your support, we can:
- Restore our reach from 10 to 100 widows once again
- Provide monthly groceries, clothing, and healthcare
- Offer spiritual care, community fellowship, and counseling
- Empower widows through skill development and small income-generating opportunities
