WORD OF HOPE MINISTRIES (WOHM) a Christian Non- Denominational, Non-Governmental, Non-Profit humanitarian grassroots voluntary organization with Christian faith-oriented Ministry. It was founded by Ps. Late. Nadava Mani Rao, with a heavy burden, to win the heathen and Lost Souls for our saviour Lord Jesus Christ to build his Kingdom to praise and worship him on this earth.

It was started to show God’s love to hurting children, youth and families. Originally WOHM was founded as a Church makeshift orphanage, and has grown into a multi-faceted Organization providing Orphanage, Education, Nutrition and Health Care for People Affected with Leprosy (PAL) and HIV/AIDS patients, Water and Sanitation, Aged Elderly Care, Widows Welfare, Livelihoods, Medical Camps, Emergency and Hunger Relief, and above all theses, the Church serves as a family resource development for the local inhabitants.

Some of our few successful ongoing projects;

Orphanage Home

“Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.” Psalm 82:3

To serve the needs of poor helpless and vulnerable 30 orphan Children at our WOHM Home, we are providing them Food and Nutrition support, Shelter, Clothing, Material Care, Protection, Health care, Psychosocial Support, Education for Civic and Economic Strengthening with Parental Care and Love, Social Security, Career Guidance for a brighter future.

Apart from that we are also accommodating 30 Elder Men and Women, providing the best professional care within the context of an unapologetically Christian environment.

Rescuing Child Labour School Dropouts and Streamlined to Continue Education

We have rescued more than 150 children from streets of Hyderabad Slums and rehabilitated, provided Non- Formal Education at our Orphanage. We have provided them nutritious food, clothes, educational material, uniform, shoes and socks and health care etc. This poverty ridden semi-Orphan children are streamlined and enrolled in the regular Schools for their further studies and now studying as regular students in the schools.

Feeding the Hungry

“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” Proverbs 22:9

Constantly, poor are said to be “blessed” and we are instructed to value integrity over riches. God has not forgotten the poor and instead calls all believers to join in his restorative work to bring hope and heavenly opportunity to them. So, we at WOHM ensure long-lasting impact by providing at least one square meal of cooked nutritious food packet, a fruit, and clean water bottle to 300 impoverished road side dwellers in our project areas, by planting Gospel with Love of our God, by feeding food to restore their dignity
Food and Clothes for the Needy

We minister with a unique way of feeding the hungry soul to save their lives and to change their futures by distributing Food and Clothes to more than 600 Children. Eventually, they are told the Christ’s Love and heavenly hope to follow him.

Most of them are Rag Pickers, Scavengers, Manhole Cleaners etc. Most of these homeless and underprivileged individuals wandering to survive on the footpaths, flyovers of well-built metro stations, Railway Station, Bus Stations, and slum areas. To overcome the Cold Wave, we have distributed Blankets to these disadvantaged people.

Nutrition and Health Care for People Affected with Leprosy (PAL)

Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” – Mark 1:44-45

Leprosy has terrorized mankind since biblical times and was recorded as early as 600 BC in India. It continues to affect, causing needless disabilities, social and psychological harm. With our “Care to Improve the Living Conditions of Ostracised People Affected by Leprosy (PAL) and their families” we are supporting 60 families, at Karunapuram, Warangal District, TS, India. With a Motto to wean away them from begging, helping them in acquiring self-confidence, removing the stigma of infection, not to be dependent on their family bread winner by providing them Dry Ration, Clothing and Bedding as per the Doctors prescribed norms.

Ensuring PLHAs Access to Care for Wellbeing

To reduce the financial burden of these poor, vulnerable People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLHAs) for their treatments, and with our intention to save more of these lives, we are supporting 40 PLHAs from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for their regular check-ups, Antiretroviral Therapy (ART), and Nutrition.

Widows Ministry (Rehabilitation to make a Lasting Change)

Honour widows that are widows indeed. 1 Timothy 5:3

Widow Welfare is one of our Key Focus areas and we are creating a rehabilitation for them by providing safety and care, to strengthen morally and physically as a whole. We provide 110 widows monthly groceries, clothes during festival seasons, health care and medicines at us at WOHM Home.

Building Church

For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:12

God has put into our hearts the intention to build a Permanent Structure to reach out to wider community, to ignite the passion for Christ’s Kingdom. Without a structure, it is merely a loose-fit collection of people with no worship, no preaching, and no biblical ordinances. We felt that there must be a structure called THE CHURCH. So, we started and is in the process of construction.

Tribal Gospel

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. – Acts 1:8

Our Tribal Gospel Camps focus on reaching indigenous and tribal communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. These camps are designed to be culturally sensitive and relevant, incorporating local traditions and languages. We conduct evangelistic meetings, Bible studies, and discipleship programs that address the unique needs and challenges of these communities. Our goal is to see tribal people come to know Christ, grow in their faith, and become strong witnesses in their own cultures. We also work on community development projects that improve living conditions and promote sustainable growth

At WOH Ministries, we recognize the importance of physical health in overall well-being. Our Medical Camps provide free healthcare services to underserved and remote communities. We offer medical check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, and health education. These camps are staffed by volunteer doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals who are committed to providing compassionate care. In addition to addressing immediate health needs, we aim to educate communities about preventive care and healthy living practices. Our Medical Camps are a tangible expression of God’s love and concern for the whole person.
